Final Blog



After Ralph looks up at the Naval officer he soon comes to realize with joy that he wouldn’t have died. As Ralph and the other Naval officers heard screaming and feet running towards the beach The officer drew his pistol and Ralph hid behind him. In shock Jack and his hunters dropped their weapons. Everyone who was left on the island was extremely happy to know that they would all be rescued. In the whisk of excitement the boys forgot about hunting one another and went to go to tell all the others.


 
In fear Ralph stayed on the beach and the Naval Officer asked "why won't you go share the good news with your friends". Ralph then responded "No sir, those are not my friends", Ralph can feel the Officer glare at him for a time but then cut off by the sounds of excitement. As all of the boys came back to the beach choppers came from the sky I asked to be in the same chopper as the Naval Officer and Ralph thought "finally rescued for this wretched place". Ralph drifted off to sleep while the other boys were cheering and happy to have lived.


 
As the choppers brought the boys back to safety the boys told the Naval officers where they each lived. Each one of the boys went out to look for their families. To everyone's surprise they all live in the same neighborhood, as they stepped to their doors and looked at one another as they took a deep breath in and started to search for their families. Ralph was finally reunited with  his family as to all the other boys except for Jack. Jack's family was brutally murdered. All the boys he tortured on the island gave no pity for him.

 
As everyone saw Jack whimper and cry, all of the boys were flabbergasted when they saw Ralph giving him the benefit of the doubt. Everyone who joined Jack's tribe didn’t sympathize with him because of all the awful things he had done to them. Ralph reached out his hand to Jack to comfort him but Jack refused he didn’t want to feel comforted by his enemy.  All the boys hated him except for Ralph, Jack was asking Ralph "Why are you trying to comfort me when all I did was try to kill you" Ralph then responded to Jack "It wasn’t your fault, it was the islands." Jack finally gave into the comfort and took Ralph by the hand and hugged things out but everyone was shocked when they realized Ralph deceived Jack.


 
Ralph raised a blade to Jack's back than quickly stabbed him then whispered to him "this is to avenge Piggy and Simon."  All the boys looked at Ralph in awe and every ones families witnessed what had happened. Someone called out for help and restrained Ralph from hurting himself and others. Paramedics tried to save Jack Ralph was charged with murder and without the possibility without parole. Two weeks later Ralph gets visitors in prison and his mother asks "what happened to you on that island." Ralph is then reminded of the island.

Dear Diary,               Today is a very difficult day and I feel as if there are worse days coming. What happened today was that I  believed bathing was one thing to do today. Playfully I was squirting water at Piggy and by mistake at his specs. But than Piggy noticed the not so pleasant whether which was very cloudy and looked as if it was going to rain. Soon we started to wonder where everyone had gone off to but we soon came to realize that they have went to Jack's party. I was upset that they had left just for some stupid meat. Chapter 8

Dear Diary, All the boys were happy about killing the pig. Yet, my leadership was questioned by no one other than Jack himself. I had no idea why he would question it. I soon came to realize that all he wanted was to become chief instead of me. Jack told all of the boys that I am a coward which was a lie. Jack then wanted to vote on who will be chief  and told all of the other boys to vote. To my surprise no one did vote for me to step down as chief. Jack wanted to become leader so much that he left all of the others including myself. He even wanted all of the other hunters to join his tribe. He is now bribing others with meat so they may join his tribe. Which would probably leave me with nothing and no one. Just when I was in doubt Piggy then comes to comfort me. He than tells me an idea that lifts my spirit which is we should make another signal fire but not on the mountain rather on the beach. I feel so much more uplifted with hope that Piggy has given me.
